Effective December 16, 2019, Hazelwood will be instituting a new arrival and dismissal policy.

 

Arrival will be as follows: 

Students can begin entering the building at 7:30 am.  They should report directly to the cafeteria and stay in the cafeteria.  No loitering in the main lobby.

Pre-K, 1, 2 enter through door B (the main entrance)

3, 4, 5 enter through door A (the south side of the building)

Middle school enter through door C (the north side of the building)

 

Dismissal will be as follows:

Pre-K will dismiss from their classroom.

K and 1st will dismiss from the cafeteria

2nd will dismiss from door B (the main entrance)

3, 4, 5 will dismiss from door A (the south side of the building)

Middle school will dismiss from door C (the north side of the building)

 

ALL STUDENTS PICKING UP SIBLINGS WILL EXIT THROUGH THEIR ASSIGNED DOOR AND COME IN THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO PICK THEM UP EITHER FROM THE PRE-K ROOM OR THE CAFETERIA.

 

STUDENTS GOING TO CLUB MEETINGS SHOULD GO DIRECTLY TO THEIR MEETING LOCATION.  THEIR SIBLINGS MUST STAY WITH THEM.

DOORS HAVE BEEN LABELED.

NEW distance learning web-page available Monday, April 6

The Maryland State Department of Education just announced that public school closure will be extended through Monday, May 15. Additionally, as a correction, learning packets are not available at City Rec Centers. Beginning Monday, March 30, learning packets will be available at the 18 City Schools meal sites.
